Servant Potluck

Here's what I'm talking about today...

Servant Potluck last night was incredible... unbelievable... 25 people all at Glenn and Anne's house, lots of awesome food, great time of fellowship, introductions, feedback, vision, comraderie, memories...

This is interesting! Colin, Monica and Joel were all there in the beginning, and are still around! What a blessing!

Matt and Jonny, told how they received Christ last year in one of the services, and are now serving, helping out, wanting to do more... What a blessing!

Young Adults! WHOOHOO! And with big ideas, big vision, energy, appetite for more fellowship, prayer, outreach!

And we can't get together without crying! Because God is changing lives! Transformation! Joy!

And, how all the things I wanted to talk about, friendliness, hospitality, outreach, prayer, mentoring, all came up in the feedback time. Truly, Jesus is the head of His church, and the Holy Spirit is talking to us... may we be faithful to follow His lead.

I'm just grateful, I know there's work ahead of us, I know there's things we want to work on, things we want to do, stuff we want to get better at... but, I just want to bask in the moment of all that God has done just in the last few months!

Okay... this fall, it's about discipleship, it's about small groups, it's about mentoring... it's about being challenged to grow, change, develop, learn, be trained, to be stretched, to sacrifice...

and there will be abundant FRUIT!!!
